The Yellow Courgette - Lemona F1 Hybrid Courgette seeds

Courgette LemonaCourgette Lemona F1 Hybrid seeds produce really prolific cropping plants with yellow, cylindrical fruit up to 20cm (8 inches) long.

Courgette Lemona is a really prolific cropper! The yellow, cylindrical fruit it produces are long and the plant has very few leaf and stem spines making it easier to pick for the home gardener. It’s definitely one of the best yellow varieties and adds wonderful vibrancy to any meal you use it in

Sow from April to early June 18-21°C singly, edge on, 1.25cm deep, in pots. Plant out after last frost. Space plants up to 1m apart. Feed weekly and keep well watered. Can be grown early or late under glass to extend the growing period. Courgette flowers are also widely used.

Most if not all courgette plants have large leaves which serve to suppress weeds, but the downside to courgette growing is that they need more space than most other plants, but the plants we write about on this site are well worth that extra space.
