British bred Blush self blanching Celery
Celery Blush seeds are a British bred, self blanching type. Unother types of Celery, this variety has an attractive pink blush at the base of the plant, brightening up salads and any other dish you serve it with. An excellent, strong taste with good texture that’s not too stringy.
Sow Indoors: February-March thinly ¼in (0.5cm) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre watered compost. Maintain 60°F (15°C). Keep soil moist at all times.
Plant Out: May-June into the required harvest position 10in (25cm) apart with 10in (25cm) between each row when fear of frost has past. Earth up gradually throughout summer and early autumn in order to blanch stems. Plant in a block.
Harvest: September-November
Seed has been hot water treated to control eptoria (leafspot).
