Kalibos cabbage seeds originally came from Eastern Europe and they produce a delicious red cabbage that has a high sugar content, making it the perfect variety for shredding raw into salads for superb sweetness, crunch and colour.Sow Indoors: February-March thinly ½in (1cm) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.
Sow Outdoors: March-May, thinly ½in (1cm) deep in a seed bed. Keep soil moist at all times. Protect from frost.
Thin Out: 4in (10cm) apart.
Plant Out: May-June and March into the required harvest position 18in (45cm) apart with 18in (45cm) between each row when plants have 3-4 true leaves.
Harvest: August-October.
