Sow Indoors: February-March thinly ¼in (0.5cm) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre watered compost. Maintain 60°F (15°C). Keep soil moist at all times.
Plant Out: May-June into the required harvest position 10in (25cm) apart with 10in (25cm) between each row when fear of frost has past. Earth up gradually throughout summer and early autumn in order to blanch stems.
Harvest: September-November
Seed has been hot water treated to control eptoria (leafspot).
