Where we are in Derbyshire I wouldn’t dream of growing them outside because the winds here would kill them off in short order.

Numex Twlight chilli peppers are judged to have a Scoville heat of between 30,000 to 50,000 SHU’s – very similar in that respect to the Tabasco. They may be small in size but they make up for that with the heat they generate and the colourful way the fruits mature.

As it is rare indeed for all the chillies on a plant to mature at the same rate then you will see a virtual rainbow of chillies on these plants going from purple to yellow to orange and then to red. Numex Twilight make a stunning addition to your windowsills and conservatories.
