Brussels Sprout 'Crispus' F1 generation hybrid is a superb variety, with a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit. This variety is a best seller and an early cropper as well. It’s both vigorous and has an excellent standing ability. Growers this Brussels Sprout variety for its superb flavour, knowing it will make a great addition to your Sunday lunch. Crispus is an excellent source of vitamin C and are packed full of vitamin D, folic acid and is high in antioxidants.

To grow tightly packed sprouts we recommend you plant in firm, fertile soil. Dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or compost in March before planting out in May to give the soil the maximum time to settle.

Sow Outdoors: Late March-April thinly ½in (1cm) deep in a seed bed or clean module trays of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times. Protect from frost.

Thin Out: 4in (10cm) apart.

Plant Out: May-June into the required harvest position 24in (60cm) apart with 24in (60cm) between each row.

Harvest: December-February

Protect from Cabbage White Butterfly with netting or fleece.
