Jerome is a well-bred variety recognised with a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit which stands well through the winter weather it’s a cold, snowy and stormy or wet and warm, providing you cauliflowers with deep white heads superb in quality ready for cutting in early spring.

A handy hint for you - Leaf growth is vigorous so fold these over the curds to gives the heads extra protection.

Sow Indoors: May-June thinly ½in (1cm) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.

Sow Outdoors: May-June thinly ½in (1cm) deep in a seed bed or clean module trays of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.

Thin Out: 4in (10cm) apart.

Plant Out: July-August into the required harvest position 18in (45cm) apart with 18in (45cm) between each row when plants have 3-4 true leaves.

Harvest: March-April

Cauliflowers should be grown in firm soil.

Protect from Cabbage White Butterfly with netting.

Cover curds with leaves to protect from bad weather
