Chilli pepper Gusto F1 seeds produce very attractive plants, the fruit of which are a moderate heat. These chillies are apparently adaptable to a range of growing condition, ie: inside or out, but I still maintain that depends entirely on where you live. Anyone can grow chillies inside but weather conditions dictate whether chillies will grow and fruit outdoors.
Grown inside then the yield will be high if not prolific, with a good level of holding ability. From sowing to first fruit can be around 65-75days. Plant height is approx 45-60cm. They mature from purple to rich red.
A hybrid chilli pepper, the fruit of Chilli pepper Gusto Purple ripens from green through red to purple making a very attractive plant. Fruit size is approx 7cm and as aforesaid they are intended for patio container growing and also for growing under cover in a greenhouse, tunnel or conservatory.
If you would to make your conservatory look really good you could grow Chilli pepper Gusto Purple and its cousin Gusto Green together as this works very well, is attractive to look at and spicy to eat. Trials have shown great promise in our moderate climate and this is possibly the first opportunity to try outdoor Chilli cropping.
A great combination of green, red and purple chillies. If you your chillies medium spicy then these are the ones for you. Perfect for adding fresh to dishes to add a little spice. They can be dried too.
